Rate of play: Two games at 100 minutes per game plus 30 seconds per move (below referred to as the 'primary rate' games). If scores were tied after these two games, two games at 10 minutes on the clock each were played. If scores were tied after these games, the first player to win a game at five minutes on the clock each went through to the next round.
Prizes: First round losers £200 each; Second round losers £400 each; Losing semi-finalists £600 each. Bogdan Lalic won £2,000 whilst Chris Ward received £1,000.
