Westcliff Chess Club were very pleased when International WGM Sheila Jackson accepted their invitation to take part in a Simultaneous display.
This took place on 30th July at Trinity Methodist Church. IWGM Sheila Jackson took on seventeen players, winning on eleven, drawing on six and no losses. The draws going to Maurice Siegel, Laurie Collin, Keith Wilcox, Ron Gooch, Tony Cox and Alec Hurley. The evening was a great success and thoroughly enjoyed by all.
Westcliff Chess Club meets at Trinity Methodist Church from 7.30pm every Wednesday (except August). The next club night will be September 3rd and faces old & new will be warmly welcomed.
