Better late than never, the annual Team Blitz and the Lightning Championship will take place on 9 November 2025 at Wanstead House, 21 The Green, Wanstead E11 2NT, on the ground floor of the main building.
These are both Essex closed events.
Schedule
Team Blitz in the morning 9.45 am for 10.00 am, limited to 10 4-board teams, affiliated Essex clubs, rate of play 7 minutes NO increments.
Individual Lightning Championship, afternoon 2.15 pm for 2.30 pm., 10 second buzzer, 6 or 7 rounds depending on entry.
