SCCU U2050: Surrey 7-9 Essex At Cheam. With a history of defeat at this venue, Essex returned home happy on a wet and blustery day, with a 9-7 victory and qualification to the ECF championship stages assured. See full details and Michael Spurr’s report on the U2050 page (link below).

The SCCU Championship is still up for grabs, with Essex in pole position and only Kent, currently bottom but with two matches in hand, in contention. Essex play Kent in their last zonal stage fixture on 28 February. Kent in the meantime have another fixture, away to Surrey on 14 February, with their final fixture on 14 March, at Home to Middx.
