County Classical
From Mark Murrell
Back for a third season, starting Saturday, 24 October, we are hosting another series of G50+10 standard rated game opportunities for both adults and juniors alongside our Essex U1450 county match home games at Wanstead House. It is for those who might be interested in county chess or simply wish to get some classical chess standard play time control experience.
- ECF standard rated games against different opponents;
- Two games of all moves in 50 minutes plus 10 second increments;
- Aimed at those rated below or around the 1450 mark standard and those with higher rapid ratings – below say 1650 – who want to experience chess with more thinking time;
- Players will need to know how to record the moves.
Those interested should contact Mark Murrell – use the Contact Form from the main menu bar above, click on ‘Who do you wish to contact?” and select ‘Assistant Match Captain’ from the dropdown. Use “County Classical” as your subject heading.
