ECF QF: Notts 2½-9½ Essex At Sawtry, Huntingdon. Essex stormed into the ECF semi-finals and had a winning lead at 6-1 up with Board Count advantage, but didn’t stop there. A bloodthirsty encounter: just one draw out of 12 and only two games conceded by Essex. Excellent performance!
