The Knockout returns!
Last played in 2019, the Knockout is back. Following the successful return of the Essex League, the summer Rapid Knockout takes its place to supply team competition throughout the summer months.
Everything as it was in 2019 including the entry fees.

Format is unchanged: five board teams, each match two rounds of G20+10.
There is a Plate competition for teams losing their first round match.
Round dates, fixtures to be played by: R1 by Fri 8 July;
R2 (QF) by Fri 29 July extended to 3 August;
SF by Fri 2 September;
Final by Fri 30 September.
The Plate dates will follow the above dates from “R2” onwards.
The Knockout 2022 is now using the ECF LMS for data capture and Rapid rating purposes; the Knockout and the Plate are separate events within the ECA organisation – links below.
