The Entry Form for Blitz 4, the final Blitz tournament of this Essex Online series, on Monday 29 March 2021, at 7.00 pm, is published.
Blitz 4 will be played at 3 minutes + 2 seconds per move (G3+2) which is the fastest rate of the series and is the equavalent to five minute blitz. You can find full details of this event and the online entry form (the only way to enter) at the link below.
This is the last event in the current Blitz series, but not the last Essex Online event. On 22 Mar the final two rounds of the Online Rapid Championship will be played; then, following Blitz 4, we have the 5-Round Essex Online Championships, at the more sedate pace of G60+15 – classic chess – starting on Monday 12 April, with further rounds on 26 April, 10 and 24 May, finishing on 7 June.
